In the fifteen years I've spent in the culinary service and fitness industry, my knowledge and ability to create healthy lifestyle plans has helped countless clients achieve their wellness goals. I've worked with the general public and young athletes as a competitive swimming coach, fitness instructor and personal trainer. Working closely with nutrition experts and registered dietitians to design menus for my culinary business, I have developed a broad base of dietary knowledge.
As a professional coach and personal trainer, I have trained and received numerous fitness certifications including:
- Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise
- Certified Fitness Trainer through The Cooper Institute
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor through NETA
Water exercise is a fun alternative to other forms of cardiovascular and endurance training, with less stress on joints, muscles and tendons. Aquatic training engages nearly all the muscles in your body during the workout, and is, therefore, a very-efficient means of exercising.
My experience as a swimmer and professional swimming coach spans over twenty years. I competed at the state, local and national level for fourteen years and have been coaching various teams and individuals since 1989.
